Mikaela Davis and Southern Star shared a live Jerry Garcia covers EP via Kill Rock Stars. Our Creepy Eep Hour arrived just in time for Halloween and boasts three instrumental tracks from the Grateful Dead guitarist’s 1972 debut solo album, Garcia.
Our Creepy Eep Hour follows Mikaela Davis’ 2023 album, And Southern Star. The harpist — who’s shared the stage with Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir and Phil Lesh — captured the instrumental suite “Late for Supper”/“Spidergawd”/“Eep Hour” during a complete performance of Garcia in May.

“Earlier this year, we had a residency, where along with originals, we performed a different selection of Grateful Dead songs each week,” Mikaela said. “This suite of instrumentals is from the final night of our residency 5.19.23 at Parish Public House in Albany, NY, where we performed Garcia in its entirety.
