Metallica will take over the Las Vegas Sphere at their newly announced Life Burns Faster residency at the technologically enhanced venue. The metal icons booked eight shows in October, culminating with a performance on Halloween.

Metallica’s Life Burns Faster Sphere residency will present two concerts over four consecutive weekends beginning on October 1 and 3. The band will then perform at the Sphere on October 15 and 17 and October 22 and 24, before ending the run on October 29 and 31.

Metallica joins prior and/or upcoming Sphere performers, including U2, Phish, Dead & Company, Eagles, Anyma, Backstreet Boys, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, Illenium, No Doubt and Carín León.

“About 12 seconds into the opening night of Sphere with U2 back in ‘23, I thought ‘We have to do this, it’s completely uncharted territory!,’” said Metallica co-founder/drummer Lars Ulrich. “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months time, and way fuckin’ psyched to go next level!”

Following the format of recent Metallica tours, each Life Burns Faster week will feature no-repeated songs played between the Thursday and Saturday concerts.

Two-night tickets and single-night Life Burns Faster Sphere residency tickets go on sale Friday, March 6 at 10 a.m. PT. Click below for further details.
