Members Of moe. & Aqueous To Team Up At Brooklyn Comes Alive

This year’s installment of Brooklyn Comes Alive will feature over 100 artists teaming up in various configurations to play over 35 sets of music at three different Williamsburg venues (The Hall At MP, Brooklyn Bowl and Music Hall Of Williamsburg) on September 23 – 24. Organizers of the event continue to roll out details of the configurations and the latest is a “moe.queous” set featuring Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico of moe. joined by all four members of Aqueous.
Not only was Aqueous birthed in Buffalo, the same city where moe. was formed, but the members of Aqueous have never hidden their love of moe. In fact, Aqueous played a set of moe. covers at the 2015 Paradise Music Festival. Aqueous has since gone on to befriend moe. to the extent that the younger act completed a surprise, full-band swap with the older act in Cambridge earlier this year.
Aqueous guitarist Mike Gantzer weighed in on performing with Al and Vinnie, “It’s an absolute honor to get the opportunity to share the stage with some of the moe. guys! Some of Aqueous’ most formative moments when we were young and aspiring/impressionable musicians were seeing moe. shows, and moe.down was actually our first ever festival that we attended growing up. We’ve always looked up to those guys, and the Buffalo connection we share makes it that much more special, so in summation, we’re incredibly psyched!”
Today’s announcement comes after BCA organizers previously detailed tributes to The Allman Brothers Band and Jamiroquai as well as an Eric Krasno & Friends performance. Stay tuned for additional Brooklyn Comes Alive announcements.
Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite.
