Members of The Motet, Trey Anastasio Band and Electric Beethoven will perform a set honoring the music of Jamiroquai as part of Brooklyn Comes Alive this September. Brooklyn Comes Alive will feature over 100 artists teaming up in various configurations to play over 35 sets of music at three different Williamsburg venues (The Hall At MP, Brooklyn Bowl and Music Hall Of Williamsburg) on September 23 – 24.

The Jamiroquai tribute will find keyboardist Todd Stoops (RAQ/Electric Beethoven) pairing up with trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick and trombonist Natalie Cressman of the Trey Anastasio Band and five members of The Motet. Drummer Dave Watts, guitarist Ryan Jalbert, vocalist Lyle Divinsky, bassist Garret Sayers and keyboardist Joey Porter will represent The Motet as part of the collaboration.

Today’s announcement comes after BCA organizers detailed a tribute to The Allman Brothers Band. Stay tuned for additional Brooklyn Comes Alive announcements.

Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite.
