Life on the road for a touring band can be a tiring challenge, especially when the members are piled into a van together trekking from show to show. Hartford, Connecticut-based jam outfit McLovins made the most of a recent ride in the band van, recording an acoustic cover of a song by Zac Brown Band.

With drummer Jake Huffman on vocals and steering wheel, keyboardist Atticus Kelly sitting shotgun on mandolin, guitarist Justin Berger on the middle bench on acoustic and bassist Jason Ott in the back row, the quartet offered a rendition “Homegrown.” The song was originally issued as the lead single off the 2015 Zac Brown Band LP Jekyll + Hyde.
