Margo Price Shares New EP ‘Weakness’

Country singer-songwriter Margo Price has issued a new EP entitled Weakness via Third Man Records. The four-song release was recorded at the renowned Sam Phillips Recording studio in Memphis.

Price and her guitarist husband Jeremy Ivey wrote the EP’s title track as well as the newly penned “Just Like Love.” Ivey wrote the closer “Good Luck,” while Matt Gardner composed “Paper Cowboy.” The follow-up to Price’s 2016 debut Midwest Farmer’s Daughter features contributions from Price and Ivey on acoustic guitar, Dillion Napier on drums, Kevin Black on bass, Micah Hulscher on keyboards, Luke Schneider on pedal steel guitar, Alex Munoz and Jaime Davis on electric guitar and fellow TMR label mate Joshua Hedley on fiddle and vocals. Price, Ivey, Munoz and Matt Ross-Spang co-produced the EP, which is being issued digitally and in a first for TMR, as a two-piece 7-inch bundle.
