Marcus King recently stopped by the intimate Rockwood Music Hall in New York City to perform for NYC public radio station WFUV’s live concert series. The guitarist treated WFUV marquee members to songs from his new Dan Auerbach-produced album, Young Blood, and more.
King was in the Big Apple for a two-night headlining stand at the Beacon Theatre on September 15 and 16. The night before the run, Marcus came to Rockwood Music Hall, noting he played the cozy Lower East Side club early in his career.
The guitarist and his band kicked off the set with the rollicking Young Blood opener, “It’s Too Late.” King also performed the album singles “Hard Working Man” and “Blood On The Tracks.” Marcus closed out the set with, “The Well,” off his 2020 debut album, El Dorado.
