Next Friday, June 9, The Magpie Salute will issue their self-titled debut album via Eagle Rock Entertainment. Today, the band has unveiled the music video for “Omission,” the lead single off the LP.

The Magpie Salute finds Black Crowes alums Rich Robinson, Marc Ford and Sven Pipien joined by seven other musicians from around the world. “Omission” features The Magpie Salute’s John Hogg. “Symbolically, it’s something that is just ours,” Robinson told Rolling Stone about the original. The band recruited Matthew Sterling to direct the video which was shot in London. “The overall idea was based on the light and dark aspects of the human psyche and taking a reference from the Magpie which has elements of the light and dark,” Rich said in a statement.
