Magnolia Fest Announces New Location In Florida

Organizers of the Magnolia Fest 20th Anniversary Celebration have revealed plans to move the festival to a new location in Florida this year. This year’s event will now take place at the St. Augustine Amphitheater in St Augustine, Florida, moving from Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak.
Additionally, organizers of Magnolia Fest revealed the event will take place over one day at the St. Augustine Amphitheater on Saturday, October 15. A pre-party is planned in the new location on Friday, October 14. After much thought and consideration, it is with heavy hearts that we announce that we will not be producing Magnolia Fest at the Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in 2016. Instead we will host a Magnolia Fest 20th Anniversary Celebration in St Augustine at the St. Augustine Amphitheater. It will be a one day event on Saturday, October 15 with a pre-party on Friday, October 14. St Augustine is a beautiful city with wonderful beaches, there are a lot of hotels and also camping right next to the venue, with easy access to the Jacksonville Airport. Details will be released in the next couple of weeks.
Rising costs for talent, production and the inability to negotiate a deal with the Spirit of Suwannee make it impossible to do this event in Live Oak without a substantial increase in ticket prices or a reduction in the quality of the show.
Magnolia Fest has been a magical experience for years and a place for family and friends to come together every fall to enjoy some of the best music in the country. Always cherish those memories.
