Nashville-based singer-songwriter Maggie Rose today unveiled “Saint,” the latest single from her upcoming Have A Seat album. Have A Seat arrives through Starstruck Records on August 20.
The 11-track album, Maggie’s third full-length LP, was recorded at the historic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Rose tapped Ben Tanner of Alabama Shakes to produce Have A Seat. Contributors include bassist David Hood of The Swampers, guitarist Will McFarlane and members of her band Them Vibes — drummer Sarah Tomek, guitarist Alex Haddad and vocalist/percussionist Larry Florman.

Maggie previously shared lead single “Do It” and “What Are We Fighting For” earlier this year. “This song’s about admitting to not being perfect and being okay with that,” explained Rose regarding her new single. “It’s something we should stop expecting of women—because women are many things, and saintly is not a requirement.”
