teamed up remotely to record a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Woodstock.” The band shared the resulting quarantine video on their YouTube channel.
Joni Mitchell wrote “Woodstock” about the legendary festival, which was supposed to end 51 years ago today but bled into the next morning thanks to overruns. Mitchell released her version on the 1970 album Ladies Of The Canyon and then Crosby Stills Nash & Young scored a hit with a cover of “Woodstock” later in 1970. Ironically, Joni didn’t actually perform at Woodstock and penned the song after hearing tales of the festival from her then-boyfriend Graham Nash.
