TWO U.K. SONGWRITING GENIUSES
JOIN TOGETHER FOR TRIO OF SPECIAL SHOWS

Robyn Hitchcock
Robyn Hitchcock will be playing three shows with Nick Lowe this April in New York (4/9), Los Angeles (4/11) and San Francisco (4/12). This is a rare chance to catch two masters of smart, catchy, frequently peculiar pop music.

Last November, Hitchcock released a reissue box set, I Wanna Go Backwards, that compiles three groundbreaking post-Soft Boys albums – Black Snake Diamond Role, I Often Dream of Trains and Eye – plus a two-disc collection titled While Thatcher Mauled Britain, a collection of b-sides, outtakes and home recordings. Hitchcock also released his long out-of-print album Groovy Decay as a digital only album in December, and his next box set will be released in the summer of 2008. Lowe released his rightly celebrated new album, At My Age, last June and his 1978 solo debut masterpiece Jesus of Cool was given the deluxe reissue treatment this past February.

Hitchcock is a special guest on Lowe’s April/May North American tour for At My Age.
