‘Love For Wavy’ Virtual Event Features Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks, Bonnie Raitt & Jackson Browne + More

The 85th birthday of counter-culture icon Wavy Gravy will be celebrated with “Love For Wavy,” a virtual concert featuring performances, stories, tributes and more. “Love For Wavy” spans May 14 – 16 and fans can receive a video link by signing up at the Seva Foundation’s website.

, Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks, Joan Baez and Bonnie Raitt & Jackson Browne are among those participating in “Love For Wavy.” Steve Earle, Chris Robinson, Ani DiFranco and Graham Nash are more who are contributing to the virtual celebration.

Proceeds from “Love For Wavy” will benefit the Seva Foundation and Camp Winnarainbow. The latter was established by Wavy Gravy in 1975. Seva is a global nonprofit eye care organization that works with local communities around the world to develop self-sustaining programs that preserve and restore sight.
