Lockn’ co-promoter David Frey, who also owns the land the festival is held on, told the paper The Tedeschi Trucks Band and one other band will perform at Blue Ridge Bowl on April 18. Blue Ridge Bowl will be held at a small amphitheatre on the Arrington, Virginia site and Frey told The News & Advance about 2,500 attendees are expected.

“Because we own the property and it’s such a great place to have concerts and we are concert promoters, it’s the logical thing to do to have more than one event,” Frey said. “We’re optimistic that it will be fantastic for the fans and for the community.”

Frey revealed the Blue Ridge Bowl announcement will come on Monday and tickets are expected to go on sale the following day. David also mentioned the Lockn’ lineup is coming “soon after the Blue Ridge Bowl.”
