In celebration of the 16th anniversary of the release of their second album, Ágætis byrjun, Sigur Rós today will stream for free a concert they performed exactly 16 years ago to the day. On  June 12, 1999 the Icelandic rock band released Ágætis byrjun and performed at the Icelandic Opera House in Reykjavík. Today, the entire one hour 40 minute performance will be streamed for free.

The stream begins today at the same time the show began 16 years ago, at 9:00 p.m. Reykjavík-time, which is 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT. The recording of the 11-song show was remixed by the band’s Kjartan Sveinsson at Reykjavík’s Sundlaugin Studios. The concert was also the last to feature original drummer Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson and will be released later this year as part of a deluxe vinyl box set edition of Ágætis byrjun
