Little Feat Announces Guests For Ryman Auditorium ‘Waiting For Columbus’ Concerts

The band will be joined by special guests including Billy Strings, Eric Church, Rosanne Cash and JoJo Hermann in Nashville.

Billy Strings, Rosanne Cash and Widespread Panic keyboardist JoJo Hermann will be among Little Feat‘s guests during their Waiting For Columbus 45th Anniversary Tour stops at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on March 16 and 17. Both concerts will be filmed for a future PBS special.

Little Feat kicks off the tour in which they’ll perform the iconic live album in its entirety each night at the Southern Theater in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, March 4. Cash, Strings, Tommy Emmanuel, Amy Helm, Jeff Hanna (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band), John Leventhal and Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke) will join the band at The Ryman on March 16. Ida Mae will kick off the action on the first night in Nashville.

Amy Helm will serve as support on March 17. Hermann, Hanna, Helm, Eric Church, Connor Kennedy and Bettye LaVette will guest with Little Feat in Nashville on the 17th.

Waiting For Columbus was recorded in 1977 and released the following year. The live album includes such beloved classics as “Dixie Chicken,” “Fat Man In The Bathtub,” “Willin'” and “Sailin’ Shoes.”
