Lettuce & Tower Of Power Confirm San Diego Concert With San Diego Symphony
West Coast funkateers can see both bands go orchestral on July 7 in San Diego.

Powerhouse funk bands Lettuce and Tower of Power will pair up with the San Diego Symphony in San Diego this summer. The concert will be held at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park on July 7.
The San Diego play comes in addition to a Lettuce and Tower Of Power concert at Red Rocks outside Denver on July 20. While the two acts will be joined by the at the iconic Morrison, Colorado venue, they’ll also team for co-headlining gigs without orchestral accompaniment in Cincinnati on August 11 and Huber Heights, Ohio on August 12.
“I’ve been a @towerofpower fan since I was a child…Took a lesson with their legendary drummer at 12, and saw them live a year later,” explained Lettuce drummer on his Instagram feed when the Red Rocks show was announced. “Spent hundreds of hours playing along to their albums in my parents basement. And HERE we are… and let’s just throw in a symphony for that matter…”
