Funk revivalists Lettuce have announced the upcoming release of their fourth album, Crush. While the band hasn’t revealed the release date as of yet, today they unveiled the LP’s first single – “Phyllis.”

Crush takes off where Rage and Fly left off,” Lettuce guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff told Consequence of Sound in reference to the group’s last two LPs. “We continue our journey of the funk universe playing through many styles, including psychedelia, classic soul, and hip-hop. While still paying tribute to the past, this album clearly is pushing boundaries and has us heading into the future.”
