Les Brers Featuring Former Allman Brothers Band Members Start Rolling Out Fall Dates
Performances from Les Brers a band put together by drummer Butch Trucks featuring other The Allman Brothers Band alumni have been limited to festival sets for the most part, but this fall the group will embark on a tour of the Northeast. The first four headlining dates have been revealed with more expected to follow.
Les Brers consists of founding ABB drummers Butch Trucks and Jaimoe, longtime members Oteil Burbridge and Marc Quinones, former ABB guitarist Jack Pearson, frequent ABB guest Bruce Katz on keys, singer Lamar Williams Jr. (son of the former ABB bassist) joined by guitarist Pat Bergeson. In addition to a previously announced set at the Peach Festival this August in Scranton, the band will play a four-show run through the Northeast in September.
The Northeast Tour begins at the Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut September 7. From there, the band plays the Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire on September 8, Boston’s House of Blues on September 9 and the Paramount Theatre in Rutland, Vermont on September 10.
