Leon Bridges Covers Ginuwine For ‘Spotify Singles’

Soul singer Leon Bridges recently participated in the ongoing Spotify Singles series. The Texas native performed a song from his new album Good Thing and covered a tune by Ginuwine at the streaming platform’s studio in New York City.

Bridges recorded a live version of the Good Thing single “Beyond.” The tender love song was one of 10 new tracks on the follow-up to Bridges’ 2015 debut LP Coming Home.

A staple of Bridges’ live sets for the past few years, he and his band also worked up a cover of Ginuwine’s “Pony” during their session in NYC. Stream both “Beyond” and “Pony” below:
