Leftover Salmon Details ‘Thanksgiving Leftovers: A Weekend Of Giving’ Events
As reported, Leftover Salmon will play their eighth annual Thanksgiving Weekend run at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado on November 23 and 24. Today, the poly-ethnic-cajun-slamgrass band announced “Thanksgiving Leftovers: A Weekend of Giving,” a series of charitable events taking place next door to the Gothic at Moe’s Original BBQ.
Leftover Salmon will host a coat drive to benefit Coats for Colorado, a can food drive for Conscious Alliance and a We Bee Spelling game show fundraiser benefitting Colorado Mental Wellness Network. Fans can bring a new or gently used coat for a chance to win prizes and those that bring 10 cans of nonperishable food will receive an exclusive, limited edition poster. Additionally, Moe’s Original BBQ will host a pre and post-show from Woodshed Red on Friday, November 23, while Sockeye, Banshee Tree and Taylor Scott Band will provide music the following day.
Co-founding member Vince Herman sat for a “Reelin’ In The Years” segment on a recent episode of The JamBase Podcast. Herman discussed the We Bee Spelling game as part of the segment, which begins at the 8:20 mark:
