Lake Street Dive are gearing up for the release of a new album entitled Free Yourself Up May 4 on Nonesuch. Today, the Boston-based quartet has unveiled video for the Free Yourself Up track “I Can Change” and expanded an upcoming tour in support of the LP.

The foursome not only issue their album on May 4, they also begin their extensive tour with a sold out hometown show at The Sinclair in Boston. Lake Street Dive had already announced a batch of dates that extends through September and have now filled in a number of gaps in the run. Rachael Price & Co. added visits to Nevada, Ohio, Michigan and New Jersey in June and July shows in Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Maine, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana and Texas.

Lake Street Dive are slated to return to the road in Lexington on August 31 and play Iowa City and Omaha ahead of a previously announced performance at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado on September 6. The tour continues with stops in Salt Lake City, Bozeman, Missoula and Portland ahead of a few festival appearances. Also confirmed today is a fall headlining run that includes visits to Louisville, Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville, Columbus, Ithaca, New York City and Washington D.C.

Price is featured in the video for “I Can Change,” the fourth track on Free Yourself Up. Lake Street Dive self-produced the LP at Goosehead Palace Studios in Nashville with engineer Dan Knobler. “I Can Change” is the second single from the album to be shared following the lead single “Good Kisser.”
