King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Going Big For 2024 North American Tour

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard added a series of 2024 North American tour dates. The 34 shows confirmed today come in addition to five Stateside concerts announced last September.

The Australian rock band kicks off their summer swing through the United States at The Anthem in Washington D.C. on August 15. Next up are a pair of previously announced three-hour marathon sets at Forest Hills Stadium in New York City on August 16 and 17. King Gizz then heads to New England for shows in Boston on August 19 and Portland (Maine) on August 20 before a visit to Toronto on August 21.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will continue the tour with a rare acoustic set at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in Detroit on August 23. From there the band hits Cleveland, Newport (Kentucky), Philadelphia, Richmond, Asheville and Nashville over the remainder of August. The group follows a previously confirmed show in Chicago on September 1 with stops in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis and Omama. King Gizz then returns to Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a performance on September 8 as well as early and late shows on September 9. Next is a trip to the Pacific Northwest for shows in Troutdale, Oregon and Vancouver before the first leg concludes with a previously announced show at The Gorge in Washington state on September 14.

The sextet returns to America in November for a run that starts in California with concerts in Los Angeles, San Diego (acoustic set), Paso Robles and Palo Alto. King Gizz then plays Las Vegas on November 8, Phoenix on November 9, Albuquerque on November 10, Oklahoma City on November 12 and Fayetteville (Arkansas) on November 13. After a gig in Austin on November 15 that was part of the initial announcement, the band ends their time in America by bringing the tour to Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, St. Augustine (Florida), Miami later in November.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 10 at 12 p.m. ET. Subscribers to the band’s Gizzymail list can participate in a presale starting tomorrow, Wednesday, November 8 at 11 a.m. ET.
