Karina Rykman Extends 2024 ‘Joyride’ Tour With New Headline Dates

Karina Rykman will keep her Joyride on the road through December. The bassist added a batch of seven new headlining tour dates to a fall and winter run that will take her from coast to coast.

Rykman is joined by her talented band of guitarist Adam November and drummer Chris Corsico. The trio has been tearing up the stage at a mix of headline shows, support slots and festival appearances. Karina Rykman — who released her debut album last August — recently opened for My Morning Jacket and sat in with the band in Detroit and Chicago.

The first of the new dates is a concert in the Hamptons on August 29 at Amagansett, New York’s The Stephen Talkhouse. Karina Rykman will then resume the tour on September 12 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and September 13 in Amherst, New York. A previously announced show in Woodstock, New York follows on September 14 before a newly confirmed concert in Richmond, Virginia on September 19 leads into a swing through the Southeast.

On October 12, Rykman will make her debut at The Atlantis in Washington D.C. A trip to the West Coast spans November 7 – 16 and then Karina sets up camp at Nectar’s in Burlington, Vermont December 5 – 6. The other shows tacked onto the Joyride Tour will take place in Cambridge, Massachusetts on December 7; Philadelphia on December 13 and Portland, Maine on December 14.
