Kamasi Washington Postpones Remaining 2024 Tour Dates Due To Back Injury
The extensive run across Europe, the U.K. and Ireland will now take place next spring.

Kamasi Washington rescheduled his upcoming European tour after suffering a serious back injury. The acclaimed saxophonist was supposed to begin the European leg of his Fearless Movement Tour later this month but will now hit the road overseas in the spring of 2025.
“Hey everyone! Due to a serious back injury, I am going to have to postpone my shows in Europe this coming Fall and move them to Spring of 2025,” Washington wrote on social media. “All tickets will be honored and apologies for any inconvenience. Missing you and I can’t wait to play the new album for you!”

Kamasi Washington released his Fearless Movement album in May. The 12-track follow-up to 2018’s Heaven And Earth features collaborations with several musical legends and legends in the making including André 3000, George Clinton, Thundercat and Terrace Martin.
Washington is slated to begin the European leg in Sweden on March 12, 2025. The California native will bring the tour across the continent through April 1 and then hits cities in the UK and Ireland before returning to end the trek with more European dates.
