Justin Vernon Joins The Revolution On Cover Of Prince’s ‘Erotic City’

The annual Rock The Garden music festival was held Saturday in Minneapolis. The slate of performers included Prince’s former band The Revolution who were joined by Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon on a cover of a classic song by The Purple One.

Local favorites The Revolution performed on the main stage prior to Bon Iver’s headlining set. Vernon got in on the action early as he was brought out by The Revolution to sit-in on a cover of “Erotic City.” Revolution drummer Bobby Z told local radio station The Current that the song was personally selected by Vernon for the collaborative performance.
