John Scofield Announces February Concerts With Yankee Go Home Band

The guitarist's ensemble features Josh Dion on drums, bassist Vicente Archer and keyboardist Jon Cowherd.

John Scofield recently confirmed a series of February concerts featuring the Yankee Go Home Band. The acclaimed guitarist and his ensemble will start with a residency in New York City before hitting the road for shows in the Northeast and Midwest.

Scofield’s Yankee Go Home Band features keyboardist Jon Cowherd, drummer Josh Dion and bassist Vicente Archer. The quartet plays the famed NYC nightclub The Blue Note from February 1 through 6. Next comes a gig at the Ardmore Music Hall near Philadelphia on February 9. It’s then off to The Hamilton in Washington D.C. on February 10 and Baltimore’s Keystone Korner on February 11 and 12.

The brief Midwest swing starts at Cincinnati’s Ludlow Garage on February 18. John Scofield and the Yankee Go Home Band hit Thirty One West in Newark, Ohio next on February 19 before closing out the excursion at City Winery’s Chicago outpost on February 20.
