John Mayer Keeps Las Vegas Sphere Shows Coming

John Mayer will extend his 2027 Sphere residency in Las Vegas another week with newly announced concerts on June 9, 11 and 12. The additions bring the engagement to 21 shows, each featuring solo, full-band and John Mayer Trio performances.

Mayer initially announced six April concerts before tripling the run to 18 shows last week. The residency begins April 8 and now stretches through June 12.

The three-part format revisits an approach Mayer used on his 2017 The Search For Everything Tour. His solo segments will focus on acoustic guitar, with piano and electric guitar also planned. The trio pairs Mayer with drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Pino Palladino.

While the residency is Mayer’s first at Sphere under his own name, he played 48 concerts at the venue with Dead & Company across the group’s 2024 and 2025 runs.

An artist presale for the new dates begins Wednesday, October 14 at 10 a.m. PT. Previously issued presale codes remain valid for the additions. General ticket sales begin Friday, October 16 at 10 a.m. PT.

One dollar from each ticket sold will benefit Mayer’s Back To You Fund. Tickets for each show will also be auctioned, with all auction proceeds benefiting the Heart and Armor Foundation, which supports veterans’ health.
