John Mayer Hints At Dead & Company Announcement

Guitarist John Mayer took to Instagram today to share an image featuring Grateful Dead iconography and the word “tomorrow.” Mayer is a member of Dead & Company and may be hinting at a forthcoming tour announcement.

Dead & Company features Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti. The band embarked on an extensive summer tour from late-May through mid-July and also headlined this year’s Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Virginia. Last week, a page on the University Of Colorado’s website that noted Dead & Company would play Folsom Field on July 5 and 6, 2019 was posted and quickly taken down. We’ll find out on Thursday whether Mayer is indeed referring to a D&C tour announcement with today’s Instagram post.
