John Mayer :: 04.22.17 :: T-Mobile Arena :: Las Vegas, NV
On Saturday, guitarist John Mayer held the final night of the North American leg of his The Search For Everything Tour in support of his new solo album of the same name. The show at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas featured the tour’s standard presentation of the guitarist backed by a full band, performing solo acoustically and with the John Mayer Trio featuring Pino Palladino on bass and Steve Jordan on drums. The acoustic segment saw takes on “Stop This Train,” “Neon,” “Your Body Is A Wonderland” and Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’.” The trio portion offered Jimi Hendrix’s “Wait Until Tomorrow” and the blues classic “Crossroads” as well as “Vultures.” The full band performed The Search Of Everything tracks such as “Helpless,” “Love on the Weekend,” “Rosie,” “Still Feel Like Your Man” and “You’re Gonna Live Forever In Me,” along with a few selection from other Mayer solo albums.
