John Butler Trio Announces 2017 Summer Tour

Australia-based John Butler Trio will soon set out on a North American Summer Tour. The newly confirmed run of shows will take place this August and September.

The band featuring John Butler, Byron Luiters and Grant Gerathy will play the Ride Festival in July in Telluride, Colorado before heading out August 17 for a show at Big Top Chautauqua in northern Wisconsin. The band has additional shows planned in August at Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan; at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania; at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York; at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, at Highland Brewing Company in Asheville, North Carolina and at Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois. John Butler Trio will also perform at the Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, Virginia.

On September 1, the threesome will play the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre in Indianapolis. Other shows scheduled that month include nights at Crossroads KC in Kansas City, at the Egyptian Theatre in Boise, at the Malkin Bowl in Vancouver and at the Athletic Club of Bend in Bend Oregon. Tickets to the Summer Tour shows go on sale today.
