Joe Bonamassa Welcomes Warren Haynes For Freddie King Cover In Austria

Joe Bonamassa and Warren Haynes' paths crossed in Europe on Sunday. The guitar heroes teamed for a rendition of Freddie King’s “Pack It Up” at the Burg Clam in Sperken, Austria.
Both Haynes and Bonamassa are trekking across Europe with their respective solo projects. The Warren Haynes Band kicked off their tour across the pond in London on July 1 while Bonamassa has been all over Europe this year but launched his most recent run on July 1 in Ireland.

The guitarists were both performing on a bill headlined by Bonamassa at Burg Clam, a 12th-century castle turned music venue, in Sperken, Austria on July 6. The Warren Haynes Band set saw the guitarist closing things out with his latter-day Allman Brothers favorite, “Soulshine.” Check out that performance:
During Bonamassa’s set, Haynes jumped up for “Pack It Up.” Warren unleashed a simmering to sizzling extended solo on Freddie King’s 1977 release. Watch below:
