The incomparable JJ Cale is in the midst of his first set of shows in four years (dates available here). At seventy-years-old, Cale is touring in support of his fantastic sixteenth album, Roll On (check it out at the end of the photos). These intimate shows in small theaters along the west coast offer the rare chance to see a true American Classic do his thing. Performing everything from fan favorites like “Cocaine,” “After Midnight,” Magnolia,” Ride Me High” and Call Me The Breeze” to new cuts and obscure gems, these shows have received nothing but rave reviews.
