By Nate Todd Sep 24, 2019 • 12:55 pm PDT

Jimmy Buffett played the London Palladium on Monday night where the singer-songwriter busted out a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Scarlet Begonias” for the first time in nearly two years a little over halfway through his set.
Buffett got things going with “Everybody’s Talkin’” written by Fred Neil but made famous by Harry Nilsson. Buffet continued with “Changes In Lattitudes, Changes In Attitudes,” “We Are The People Our Parents Warned Us About,” “Pencil Thin Mustache,” “Grapefruit-Juicy Fruit” and “Jamaica Mistaica.” Jimmy then offered up a cover of Alan Jackson’s “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” ahead of “Son Of A Son Of A Sailor,” “Come Monday,” Crowded House’s “Weather With You,” “Volcano,” “Cheeseburger In Paradise,” “Trip Around The Sun,” “Fins,” Paul Brady’s “The World Is What You Make It” and “The Lakes Of Ponchartrain.”
Buffet then busted out “Scarlet Begonias” for the first time since a performance at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on October 19, 2017. Buffet continued with “Oldest Surfer On The Beach,” “Jolly Mon Sing,” a cover of Zac Brown Band’s “Knee Deep,” “Why Don’t We Get Drunk,” “A Pirate Looks At Forty,” “Back Where I Came From,” “Last Mango In Paris” and a cover of Crosby, Stills & Nash’s “Southern Cross.” Buffett closed out the set with his classic “Margaritaville.”
Jimmy Buffett reemerged for a three-song encore of “One Particular Harbour,” “Down At The La Ti Dah” and a rendition of Van Morrison’s “Brown-Eyed Girl” to close out the evening.
