Jimmie Vaughan Joins John Mayer In San Antonio

Last night John Mayer brought his The Search For Everything Tour to AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Renowned guitarist and native Texan Jimmie Vaughan sat-in during last night’s concert in the Lone Star State.
Vaughan was welcomed to the AT&T Center stage during the evening’s trio segment featuring Mayer on guitar, Steve Jordan on drums and Pino Paladino on bass. The impromptu quartet ran through the tour’s first take on the Vaughan original “Roll, Roll, Roll.” The 66-year-old guitarist stuck around for a subsequent performance of Robert Johnson’s classic “Crossroads.”
The show also saw the tour’s first “Half Of My Heart” during the second full band portion of the concert. Audience-shot footage of Vaughan’s two-song sit-in can be seen in the video captured by Jesus Cantu below:
