Jeff Tweedy Performs ‘I Am Trying to Break Your Heart’ On ‘Late Night’

As reported, last night’s episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers featured the first of two back-to-back solo performances by Jeff Tweedy. The musical guest performed an acoustic arrangement of a well-known Wilco song.

Making his Late Night debut, the Wilco frontman’s appearances this week come in support of his solo album Together At Last. The 11-track LP features stripped-down renditions Wilco songs, as well as selections from Tweedy’s Loose Fur and Golden Smog side projects. The record includes new versions of “I Am Trying To Break Your Heart” and “I’m Always In Love,” the latter of which is expected to be performed on tonight’s edition of Late Night.
