Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy will issue a new book entitled How To Write One Song via Penguin/Random House’s Dutton imprint on October 13. The tome is Tweedy’s second coming on the heels of his 2018 memoir Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back).
Jeff focuses on the art of songwriting in his forthcoming book. He takes readers through his creative process from crafting the music to penning the lyrics and all that comes in between. “The feeling I get when I write—the sense that time is simultaneously expanding and disappearing—that I’m simultaneously more me and also free of me—is the main reason I wanted to put my thoughts on songwriting down in book form to share with everyone so inclined,” Tweedy shared in a statement.
