Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy enlisted a bevy of his celebrity friends to contribute to his “Gwendolyn” video. “Gwendolyn” is the latest single from Tweedy’s forthcoming solo album, Love Is King, which is due via dBpm Records on October 23.
Jeff Tweedy recorded Love Is King in April 2020 at Wilco’s The Loft facility in Chicago. The 11-track LP comes on the heels of 2018’s WARM and 2019’s WARMER. Jeff is joined on the album by his sons, Spencer Tweedy and Sammy Tweedy.

The amusing “Gwendolyn” video was thought up by Picture Show’s Jamie Fleischel and features portions of the guest’s faces displayed where Jeff’s mask should be. Elvis Costello, Norah Jones, Abbi Jacobson, Jon Hamm, Seth Meyers, Jeff Garlin and Jeff’s sons are among those who contributed to the clip.
