Jason Isbell Profile On ‘CBS Sunday Morning’

Jason Isbell‘s recently issued LP Something More Than Free, debuted at No. 1 on three of Billboard’s charts (country, folk and rock). The Alabama-born musician’s successful follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2013 album Southeastern continues to build upon his stature as one of the top contemporary American songwriters. That success is not going unnoticed, as can be seen in a profile that aired on CBS Sunday Morning.
In the clip below Isbell can be seen touring Fame Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals where he was employed as a songwriter at age 21. It also includes footage of Isbell performing live with his band The 400 Unit as well as in the studio with his fiddle playing and talented vocalist wife Amanda Shires.
