Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit Release ‘Live At Red Rocks’ 2017 Live Album

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit issued Live At Red Rocks – Morrison, CO – 9/7/17, a live album featuring the band’s September 7, 2017 performance at the scenic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. The 20-track LP is available exclusively via Bandcamp, which today waives its revenue share as part of the Bandcamp Friday series.

Live At Red Rocks is the latest in a group of live albums released by Isbell over the past six weeks. The band’s lineup for the show at Red Rocks saw Isbell joined by his wife, Amanda Shires on fiddle as well as bassist Jimbo Hart, guitarist Sadler Vaden, drummer Chad Gamble and multi-instrumentalist Derry deBorja.

Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit’s second headlining appearance at Red Rocks came just a few months after the release of the band’s The Nashville Sound studio album. The group performed seven of the LP’s 10 tracks at Red Rocks as part of a concert that also featured a handful of Isbell solo cuts and “Decoration Day” from his time in Drive-By Truckers.
