Bandcamp Extends Bandcamp Friday Fee-Waive Program Through End Of 2020

Bandcamp will continue to waive its revenue share on sales during the first Friday of each month through the end of 2020. The program was started in March to help artists through the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and so far has led to fans putting $20 million directly into the hands of musicians and labels.

Each Bandcamp Friday will run from midnight to midnight pacific times and are slated for August 7, September 4, October 2, November 6 and December 4. A number of artists have put out surprise releases on Bandcamp Friday and since March, fans have purchased $75+ million worth of music and merch directly from labels and artists via the site.
