Jam Cruise Reveals More Special Guests & Jazz Lounge Hosts

Jam Cruise 14 sets sail from Miami on January 6 aboard the MSC Divina and visits Belize City, Belize and Cozumel, Mexico before returning to Florida on January 11. Along the way cruisers will be treated to performances from the likes of Dr. John & The Nite Trippers, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Galactic, Lotus, JJ Grey & Mofro, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and many others.Today Jam Cruise organizers have announced another batch of special guests, the hosts for the Jazz Lounge and one of the themes for the trip’s memorable theme nights.

Umphrey’s McGee keyboardist Joel Cummins, singer-songwriter Cris Jacobs (formerly of The Bridge), multi-instrumentalist Johnny Sansone and guitarist Scott Pemberton have all been added to the Jam Cruise 14 lineup as special guests. Jam Cruise 13 saw the debut of the ship’s Jazz Lounge which was a fine addition to the trip. This year’s Jazz Lounge hosts will be Stanton Moore, Mike Dillon, Simon Allen, Bernard Purdie and Eric “Benny” Bloom. Finally, JC14 organizers revealed the first theme night for Jam Cruise 14 will be Level Up! Video Game Night.
