Jack White returned to the stage on Saturday (July 27) at American Legion Post 82 in Nashville to play his first headlining show of 2024. White offered the live debuts of six songs from his new album at the benefit concert and had final copies of the LP available for purchase at the merch table.

Fans had been referring to White’s 13-track record as No Name due to the only words printed on copies given away to those who made purchases at Third Man Records stores on Friday, July 19. The original vinyl copies didn’t have tracklists, cover art or any other information. Yet, the blue vinyl sold at the fundraiser on Saturday to help provide a new soundsystem for the American Legion Post 82 included details on the release.

No Name is indeed the title to White’s sixth solo album and first since Entering Heaven Alive and Fear Of The Dawn arrived in 2022. Jack White recorded the album at Nashville’s Third Man Records Studio in 2023 and 2024. White produced the LP and made the cover art with his children, Henry and Scarlett.

No Name was dedicated to a list of cool names that includes “Dick Trickle,” “Coco Crisp,” “Picabo Street,” “Zasu Pitts” and “Michel the Angel.” Copies sold on Saturday were pressed on blue vinyl. The only detail that remains to be announced is the date when the album will be put on sale beyond at merch tables and made available on streaming services.

Jack White and his band — bassist Dominic Davis, The Raconteurs drummer Patrick Keeler and keyboardist Bobby Emmett — began the show on Saturday with “Old Scratch Blues,” the opening track of No Name. Other live debuts of songs featured on the album were “Archbishop Harold Holmes,” “That’s How I’m Feeling,” “What’s The Rumpus?,” “It’s Rough On Rats (If You’re Asking)” and “Morning At Midnight.”

The 14-song concert also included White Stripes classics “Black Math,” “Little Bird,” “Fell In Love With A Girl,” “I Think I Smell A Rat” and “Ball & Biscuit.” Jack White filled out the show with gems from past solo albums.
