Infamous Stringdusters Reveal The Festy Experience 2016 Lineup

Jamgrass/Americana act The Infamous Stringdusters will once again headline The Festy Experience this fall. The 2016 installment of The Festy Experience will take place at a new location, Virginia’s Nelson County Preserve, October 7 – 9. Today, the list of musical acts set to join the ‘Dusters at The Festy Experience has been revealed.

Famed singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale has been tapped to M.C. the event, while vocalist Nicki Bluhm will be on hand as a special guest. Sam Bush Band and Mary Chapin Carpenter will each perform at The Fest Experience ’16 as will Mississippi Allstars and Anders Osborne’s N.M.O. project and the husband/wife duo of Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn.

Lee Ann Womack, Rubblebucket, Elephant Revival, Steep Canyon Rangers, Sara Watkins, Cabinet, Nikki Lane, Dar Williams, Fruition, David Wax Museum and Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds are among the acts set to play the festival announced today. A full list can be found in the graphic below.

The Nelson County Preserve is located between Charlottesville and Lynchburg adjacent to the main grounds where the Lockn’ Festival is held. In addition to the music, festival organizers strive to showcase the craft beer experience and the outdoor experience. There are also acres of meadows and miles of trails for a full weekend of outdoor activities that will include disc gold, ultimate frisbee, kickball, soccer, guided nature trails and more.
