I’m With Her & Amos Lee Guest With Dave Matthews And Tim Reynolds In Mexico

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds continued their three-night Riviera Maya destination event at the Moon Palace Hotel in Cancun, Mexico on Saturday. Amos Lee joined the duo for a John Prine cover and I’m With Her came out for a Daniel Lanois tune and more.

“Don’t Drink The Water” got things going ahead of “Old Dirt Hill (Bring That Beat Back),” “Tripping Billies,” “One Sweet World,” “Come Tomorrow,” “The Stone,” “Lover Lay Down” and “Minarets.” Tim Reynolds gave a solo performance before the duo welcomed Amos Lee on John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery.” “Rhyme & Reason” came next ahead of “Butterfly,” — a debut for the duo — “What Would You Say,” “Lying In The Hands Of God” and “Granny.”

Reynolds delivered another solo performance before I’m With Her joined Dave and Tim on Daniel Lanois’ “The Maker.” I’m With Her’s Sara Watkins added a fiddle solo with Sarah Jarosz and Aoife O’Donovan joining Watkins for some gorgeous harmonies. Then, Watkins kicked off the favorite “Ants Marching” on the fiddle. Jarosz joined in on mandolin and O’Donovan played guitar for the vinage Matthews tune. Dave and Tim continued with “You & Me,” “The Best Of What’s Around” and the classic “Crush” to close out the set.

Dave And Tim reemerged with a cover of Neil Young’s “The Needle and the Damage Done.” The classic pairing of “Pantala Naga Pampa” and “Rapunzel” brought the evening to a close. Check out video of the I’m With Her guest spot and more captured by Cheryl Bayma below:
