Iggy Pop Appears On ‘CBS Sunday Morning’

Last year veteran rocker Iggy Pop released Post Pop Depression, an album he’s said might be his last. The 69-year-old shirtless frontman of The Stooges born James Osterberg Jr. was the subject of a profile on CBS Sunday Morning.
Sporting a white button-down shirt, Pop sat with the show’s Anthony Mason for an interview that touched on his early days a youth growing up in Michigan. The pair discussed Pop’s groundbreaking stage antics, such as stage diving and rolling around on broken glass. Pop also recalled his time working with David Bowie, lavishing praise upon his late friend and collaborator.
Pop also talked about why Post Pop Depression just might be his last record. The album was recorded with Josh Homme – who spoke with Mason and appeared in the segment. Watch Iggy being Iggy in the video below:
