Hozier & Mavis Staples Perform ‘Nina Cried Power’ On ‘The Tonight Show’

Mavis Staples joined Hozier for a performance of “Nina Cried Power” on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The song is the title track to Hozier’s recently issued EP.

Hozier titled “Nina Cried Power” after the lyrics to Nina Simone’s classic “Sinnerman.” The song was one of four featured on the EP that came out in September. Watch the collaboration on The Tonight Show below:
