Radio host Howard Stern has interviewed a who’s who of major celebrities over the course of his four-decade career but one major superstar has eluded him. That will change later this month when Bruce Springsteen makes his The Howard Stern Show debut.
Howard Stern revealed the news during the Stern Show episode that aired on SiriusXM this past Monday, October 17. “This is so fucking great,” Stern exclaimed after announcing Springsteen’s upcoming appearance. “He’s gonna bring his guitar, we’re going to sit, we’re going to talk, it’s going to be very nice.”
“I thought that was never going to happen,” added co-host Robin Quivers. Stern is already hard at work prepping for the chat. “I think I’m up to 500 questions now,” Howard said and quipped, “Bruce better bring a tent and camp out.” The legendary radio personality called Springsteen one of his dream guests in a 2019 chat with Rolling Stone.
Bruce Springsteen is gearing up to release a new studio album entitled Only The Strong Survive on November 11 featuring 15 soul and R&B covers. The Boss will hit the road next year for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band's 2023 International Tour.
The New Jersey native’s visit, for which a date has not been revealed, was a topic of conversation on Tuesday as well. “For the Stern Show there’s likely no bigger get,” proclaimed Backstreets.com. “That’s the truth,” confirmed Stern. Listen to the clip here:
