Bruce Springsteen joined The Killers on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Springsteen came out for a three-song encore that featured the E Street Band saxophonist Jake Clemons sitting in as well.

The Killers are touring in support of their latest album, 2020’s Imploding The Mirage. Saturday’s main set saw the band play four songs off the record, “Caution,” “Dying Breed,” “Fire in Bone” and “My Own Soul’s Warning,” alongside others from across their catalog.

Springsteen and Clemons accompanied The Killers when the band returned for the evening’s encore. The collaboration kicked off with Springsteen’s “Badlands” from his 1978 album, Darkness At The Edge Of Town. Next came Springsteen assisting on The Killers’ staple, “A Dustland Fairytale.” Springsteen capped his guest spot with his classic “Born To Run.”

“Everybody gets a little nervous when their boss shows up for work, right?,” frontman Brandon Flowers told the MSG audience. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed but me and my friends have all been sweating bullets up here all night. Because The Boss is here.”
