Horseshoes and Hand Grenades and Kitchen Dwellers have announced a co-headlining 2017 Fall Tour. The shows will feature full sets from the pair of bluegrass acts with a rotating closer each night of the nationwide run.

“Horseshoes and the Dwellers have been musical and life buddies for many years now,” said Adam Gruel of Horseshoes & Hand Grenades. “This tour is something we were dreaming up way back in the days that when we first met at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2012. Five years, many miles, and many shows later, we finally get to hit the road together for a national tour and we couldn’t be more excited about the music and the good-timing shenanigans that will most certainly ensue.”

The two bands will set out on September 26 in Indianapolis at The Hifi. They promise sit-ins, covers and hand-selected local opening acts as they make their way around the U.S. including shows in San Francisco at the Independent, in New York City at American Beauty and a two-night stand in Madison, Wisconsin at the Majestic Theater.

“There is always a certain level of excitement that comes with doing a large tour around the country,” said Shawn Swain of Kitchen Dwellers. “Doing this tour with some of our best friends and musical peers in Horseshoes and Hand Grenades only amplifies that feeling. We expect each night to be a raucous party that will include collaborations between the two bands and all of the fun theatrics that people have come to know.”
